The mission

Food security and local income — at the same time.

About half of India’s farmland waits on the rain. When the monsoon fails, so does income and nutrition. Our work is to turn that unreliable rain into a durable asset on the farmer’s own land — and to turn stored water into fish, and one day feed.

The aim is simple and stubborn: help with food security and economic progress at the local, national and — eventually — global level, starting with one pond, one farm, one village.

From fish cultivation to protein infrastructure.

We didn’t start with a grand plan — we followed the constraint. Each step was the honest next thing the farmer needed.

We began as a Bengaluru startup cultivating safe, hygienic fish with farmers — helping them earn an additional income from their land.

Water first — the farm pond
The real bottleneck was water. So we became the ones who bring the farmer, decode the subsidy, build the lined pond and hand it over — then stock it.

The team

A lean team, mostly in the field.

HasiruAqua is small on purpose. Most days are spent where the work is — on bunds, at ponds, at the water’s edge with a farmer — building real rural infrastructure rather than talking about it.
